Description
Background
Mouse anti Bovine CD8 (BoCD8) antibody, clone IL-A105, recognizes BoCD8α (human CD8 homolog) and immunoprecipitates a 34 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin family found on T cytotoxic cells. It forms a dimer with CD8β forming the complete CD8 molecule. CD8 binds the constant region of MHC class II molecules on antigen-presenting cells during T cell activation.
