Support Our Work
Current veterinary vaccines targeted to neglected animal diseases common in low and middle-income countries either have critical limitations or, in many cases, do not exist. Technological advances have improved our understanding of animal disease pathogenesis and immunology and have created new opportunities for next generation vaccines to address these long neglected animal diseases, especially those of small ruminants.
To reach this goal we need to build vaccines that better deliver and present pathogen proteins (antigens) to the immune system, and vaccine platforms that enable improved protective immune responses following immunization to animal diseases. This rational approach to vaccine design, testing and evaluation requires mAb and rAb reagents as essential R&D tools.
This can only happen through the collaborative efforts of many organizations and individuals. It is critical that we build alliances between private philanthropic foundations and charitable organizations, academic researchers in universities and government research institutions, and small and large animal health companies.
This is why we value and need your support.
If you are:
A private philanthropic foundation or charitable organization that understands the severity of the situation, the interaction and interdependence between veterinary and human medicine or that currently funds R&D for neglected infectious diseases, then please contact us on how you can donate to NEAH to support our mission and goals.
