Michael Calabrese is a licensed CPA and accomplished financial executive with more than a decade of experience guiding organizations toward sustainable growth. As a CFO, he has served multiple nonprofit organizations, overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets and managing more than $100 million in assets. He focuses on implementing strategies that enhance transparency, strengthen compliance, and ensure long-term financial sustainability. He regularly advises the Board of Directors, leads financial planning and analysis, and evaluates organizational changes to optimize resources.

Michael began his career in public accounting, holding senior positions at RSM, Deloitte, and CohnReznick, where he led complex compliance projects, managed large international teams, developed national training programs, and spearheaded technology initiatives to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy. He is also the founder of Calabrese & Company, an accounting advisory firm, and a founding director of Unicorn Studios, a venture capital fund supporting early-stage technology innovation.

Deeply committed to community impact, Michael volunteers with organizations such as SMART Recovery, Operation Hope, and Crisis Text Line, focusing on mental health, financial literacy, and recovery support. He has also served with AIM House, Denver Rescue Mission, Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue, and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

He holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Towson University. Known for his mission-driven mindset, analytical rigor, and collaborative leadership style, Michael leverages his financial expertise as a catalyst for meaningful and lasting community change.
